The team up of Tatum and Foxx felt more believable, while with Butler and Eckhart it just seemed like two actors doing a job. National Lampoons Animal House is a 1978 American comedy film directed by John Landis and written by Harold Ramis, Douglas Kenney and Chris Miller. It stars John Belushi, Peter Riegert, Tim Matheson, John Vernon, Verna Bloom, Thomas Hulce, Stephen Furst, and Donald Sutherland. The film is about a trouble-making fraternity whose members challenge the authority of the dean of the fictional Faber. It gave me the feeling like I was watching an action movie from the 90s, where the story may be implausible or downright silly, it makes up with pure entertaining action. When Washington DC policeman John Cale (Channing Tatum)s interview for the Secret Service goes badly, it seems he will be denied the chance to serve President James Sawyer (Jamie Foxx).
The White House Down DVD comes with some fun extras - Tatum fans especially will love "Men of Action," which shows Tatum learning how to do all his own stunts for the movie. I really liked White House Down as a popcorn flick. White House Down is a 2013 American action film about an paramilitary attack on the White House, and a cop recently rejected to get a job for the Secret Service who tries to stop them. That being said, it's still loads of non-stop fun, with Channing Tatum providing some excellent eye candy, and Jamie Foxx portraying a cooler president than most actors who've taken up the role before him! For action junkies White House Down has all the elements to make it more than enjoyable (a story about an underdog saving the entire country's future? Who wouldn't love that!) There have been tons of great action movies made over the years about the American President and the safety of the White House - a symbol of democracy in the free world - and while White House Down lives up to the excitement of the genre, it might not be remembered as the best political action thriller there ever was.
